And during this time, I’ve picked up quite a few handy tips, tricks & techniques that make preparing & cooking them as easy & to as high a quality as possible. Now, I’m sharing these tips & tricks in my roast dinner eBook. There’s even a roast dinner schedule in there as well, so you can time your roast dinner prep & cooking perfectly!

A Sunday roast is one of my favourite meals to make, so writing this eBook has been a lot of fun! If you’d like a copy of my roast dinner eBook, it’s available to buy in my online store!

The Recipes

The recipes in my roast dinner book are divided into 3 chapters; meat, side dishes & sauces…

  • Meat – Here you’ll find recipes for roast beef, lamb, pork & chicken! These recipes are designed to get the most out of each cut of meat. So the beef is cooked pink, the pork is melt in your mouth tender & has crispy crackling, the lamb is blushing & the chicken is juicy, with golden skin.
  • Side Dishes – I’m sharing my favourite side dishes & there’s everything you need here to serve alongside your roasted meat, including massive Yorkshire puddings, crispy roast potatoes, marmalade roasted root veg, sage & onion stuff and lots more. There’s plenty of sides here, so you can pick & choose the ones that you want to make! Or make them all if you’re feeling adventurous…
  • Sauces – We’ve got sauces to serve with each type of roasted meat. There’s horseradish for beef, mint for lamb, apple for pork & cranberry for chicken. There’s also a creamy cauliflower cheese puree, homemade gravy (from scratch!) & bread sauce.

Roast Dinner Schedule

Timing is a big part of making a roast dinner, so I’ve included a really handy roast dinner schedule so that you can plan everything to perfection! This includes when to do all of your prep, when to get the meat in the oven & when to cook the sides & sauces. I’m really quite proud of this guide & I’m confident that it will come in useful!

Aga Roast Dinners

So there’s actually 2 different versions of my roast dinner eBook! One that includes cooking instructions for convection, fan & gas ovens and another for cooking on/in an Aga. This includes info on which oven & cooking plate to use, as well as runner positioning & a conversion guide to use if you’re cooking in a 2 oven Aga, as appose to a 3 oven one. Agas are capable of cooking some next level roast dinners & are ideal for slow roasting meat!

Leftovers

One of my favourite things about a Sunday roast, is that there’s almost always enough food leftover, to make another meal during the week. In my house, there tends to be plenty of meat & veg left, so we reheat it the following day & have a second roast dinner! So, I’ve included a guide on how to reheat everything properly. We’re talking crispy leftover roast potatoes, tender roasted meat that’s been reheated in gravy & piping hot veg!
