My name’s Ben Racey & I am a professional chef turned food blogger, recipe developer & content creator, based in the UK.

My Background In Food.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had an interest in cooking.

My journey in the food world started in a bakery, making handmade breads. After this, I spent the best part of 8 years cooking in a restaurant.
Throughout this time I made it my goal to learn & also teach myself as many different skills & techniques as possible.
Be it breaking down a whole animal, finding uses for each joint & cut.
Making almost every food from scratch. From sauces & marinades to doughs & charcuterie. And in the lockdown of 2020, mastering the art of sourdough.

The purpose of this blog is to share as much cooking knowledge as possible whilst also learning new skills at the same time! My aim is to share the tips & tricks that I have picked up over the years & bring restaurant quality food to the home kitchen!
