Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

  • 200 g Greek Yogurt
  • 20 g Honey (Or Maple Syrup)
  • ½ tbsp Peanut Butter
  • ½ tbsp Jam (See Notes)
  • 1 Sliced Banana
  • 75 g Granola (See Notes)

Instructions

  • Add the Greek yogurt & honey into a small mixing bowl then stir to combine. Spoon the yogurt into a bowl then use the back of a spoon to spread it out into an even layer.
  • Next, spoon the peanut butter & jam on top of the yogurt then arrange the sliced banana on top & sprinkle over the granola. Serve immediately!

Notes

1. Granola - I used my chocolate & peanut butter granola for my breakfast bowl but feel free to use whatever type you like! A shop bought granola will work as well.
2. Jam - Pretty much any flavour jam will work this recipe, so use whatever flavour you like best. I used cherry jam.
3. Peanut Butter - Using a good quality peanut butter makes all the difference when making this dish! Smooth & crunchy peanut butter will both work.
4. Yogurt - For the creamiest flavour, I'd recommend using full fat Greek yogurt. Feel free to use whatever yogurt you like though.
5. Making In Advance - This yogurt bowl is best prepared just before you want to eat it. If you make it too far in advance, the granola will start to soften & the banana will discolour.
6. Making More Portions - This recipe can easily be scaled up to make more than 1 yogurt bowl. As a general guide, I serve 200 grams of Greek yogurt per portion.
